Let me start by saying Salvia is a LEGAL substance in the states in which I reside . Now that I put that out there, I would like to state that I have done salvia a few times in my life and I shall probably do it a few times more before I die if it is still legal. It is a plant that can be smoked which induces psychedelic reactions. It's non-addictive and effects do not decrease with continual use. Now for the fun part, the story of my first time.
My brave girlfriend decided to take the first puffs. She began to exclaim that she was a ferris wheel. She opened her arms up and began twirling around in circles. This lasted about a half hour. She was screaming "ride me". We were all a bit reluctant to try it after her but she encouraged us to experience this for ourselves.
He took a few puffs of this plant and began singing opera. This continued for about fifteen minuets. After that he remained silent until the end of his little adventure. Did I mention that my friend is practically tone deaf.
I was the next person to try it out. I convinced myself that I was Wonder Bread and that I needed to free my relatives. With this thought I grabbed the loaf of wonder bread from the shelf, opened it, and began to throw my "brothers and sisters" into the air screaming " be free my brethren be free!" We still have no idea how I deduced that I was this awful bread substance. May I add that the next day we turned the ceiling fan on and a piece of the loaf flung across the living room scaring us all.
My last friend took several puffs and thought that it "wasn't working". He didn't have a reaction for about ten minutes until the Beatles began playing on the ipod speakers. He then began to see swirling lights dancing above our heads. He claimed to see these lights for about an hour after his last puff.
These are just a few of the things people saw and believed they were on salvia in my presence. I believe that it should always remain legal but highly regulated like it is today.
